PECS Example Reports
1. The below report examples provided will be of only a child or adult for each. The various assessments for children and adults are almost identical – the only difference is that the appropriately aged assessment tool is used (i.e., the child or adult version of each test).
2. A Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) assessment covers Reading, Spelling, Writing and Mathematics. SLD is the term used in these reports, rather than Dyslexia/Dyscalculia/Dysgraphia, as SLD is the term used in the DSM-5 which is the classification system followed by the WA Department of Education, Independent Schools Council of Australia, Catholic Education Office, School Curriculum Standards Authority, etc.
Rest assured, the SLD assessments are still assessing for Dyslexia/Dyscalculia/Dysgraphia.
